Getting Things Done FlowChart
I found that the diagram that GTD is not quite what I need to process things quickly and easily. So I though out what I needed to do with all my stuff. I formalized it into this flowchart.
I also incorporated a few other ideas as well:
The "Is it important?" box came from Covey's (not)Important/(not)Urgent matrix.
The "Is it the highest and best use of my time to do this myself?" box comes from Brian Tracy's Victory! I was tempted to put in "Am I the lowest cost person to do this?" but that would put too much emphasis on the wrong thing. "Does this provide me with my desired hourly rate?" also puts the wrong emphasis on things too.
Hopefully this Getting Things Done Flowchart will help you.
I like it. There should probably only be one @Trash., though. :)

For fun, I threw this into Omnigraffle and spruced it up a little with colors (and a single Trash icon). You can grab it online:

Thanks for developing this--I now keep a printout of it next to my monitor for easy reference!
